PASSIVE RESISTANCE MOVEMENT. By Tolcerapb—Press Asiosifltion—Oopyrleht (Rcc. December 29, 11.15 p.m.) Pletcrmaritzburg, December 29. Mr. Gandhi, the Indian South African leader, in a moderate speech, said that ho had .received certain replies from the Union Government relating to tho Indian grievances, but was unable to divulgo their purport at present. Tho projected demonstrations have been postponed till January 15. The Passive Resistance campaign will be resumed, unless certain demands are met in tho interval.
