A representative meeting of fanners and townspeople ivas held last evening to consider tho question of agricultural education. Resolutions were carried urging upon tho Government to make statutory provision for the establishment of a junior agricultural collegiate school, at Hawera. Mr. K. Firani (chairman of tho Wauganui Education Board) and Mr.. G. Braik (chief inspector) wero present, and addressed tho meeting, strongly supporting the proposal. "
