WAIKATO WINTER SHOW ASSOCIATION.
MR. W. H. PAUL .APPOINTED SECRETARY. Mr. W. 11. Paul, according to the "Waikato Times," has been appointed secretary to the Waikato 'Winter Show Association in place of tho retiring secretary, (Mr. A. J. Smith). There were ten applicants for the position. The new secretary, whoso duties commenco on February 1 next, has taken, a prominent part in the work of tlic A. and I'. Association for the past ten years. lie lias also been closely connected with the Winter Show almost sincc its inception, and is thoroughly conversant with the work in every detail. On belialf of tho association tlio president extended a welcomo to Mr. Paul, and congratulated him on his appointment. Mr. Paul thanked -the president for his culogistic remarks.
