All the leading personages who represented tho prosecution at tho trial havo been promoted, and many of tho witnesses for tho defence degraded, or dismissed, from tho Government service. Professor Troitzky, tho medical expert at tho trial, was compelled to vacate his Chair at St. Petersburg University. . •
