Dalgety trad Company, Limited, report:—We had & fair yarding of sheep and cattle at our Palmerston North calo on Thursday, which sold as follows :— Mixed-age shorn ewes, lis. lid.; two-tooth wethers, 14s. 6d. to 14s. 7d.; mixed twotooths, to 14s. lid.; fat ewes. lEs. Id. to 15s. 4(1.; fat lotabs, lSe.; mixed fat twotootlis, 17s. 3d.; fifteen-month heifers, £J to £3 55.; two and a half to three-year etcers, £5 10s.; rising three-year steers, £5 Is. to £6 165.; yearling stecre, £3 2s. 6d.; two-year steers, £4 fe.: young bulls, £2 12s. 6d.; empty cows, £4 Bs. 6d. Outside buyers were present, and operated freely.
