NORMAL SCHOOL SPORTS.
'.Che boys' sports were held on Monday afternoon lit Anderson Park, to determine the athletic championship. There were over thirty starters in each event: —The following lire the results:— 100 yds.: Harris 1; Desmond, 2; Abbott, 3. 220 yds.: Harris, 1; Tipeno, 2; M'C&msoii, 3- 440 yds.: Harris, 1; Morgan"!-2; Gregcrson, 3. Half-mile walk: Harris, I; .Morgan, 2: Abliott. 3. High-jump: ihvyer, 1; Warn, 2; Harris, 3. Long jump: Gregcrson. 1; M'Garrison, 2; Abbott, 3. .H. T. Harris wins the championship. The staff wish to thank Messrs. Dawson and Sievivright for their kind assistance.
Tho girls' sports wero held in the playgrounds attached to tho school, and resulted in the winning of the championship by May Tracy, A special prize presented by Miss M'Kao for physical drill was won by May Straiten. The championship gold medals wero presented by Mr. J. S. Tcnnant, principal of the Training College, and Mr. J. C. Webb, headmaster of the school.
