At the Petono West School yesterday the pupils presented Mr. D. Bcdingfieid with a gentleman's companion, and Mr.. D. Robertson, first assfstant, with a morocco pocket-book, c,s marks of esteem. . Games and sports wero indulged in, and an enjoyable day's outing was experienced. The usual meeting of tho . Hope of Pctonc Lodge, 1.0.G-.T., was held on Wednesday ovening, Bro. Parkin, C.T., presiding over a good attendance. "Christmas greetings" was the item for the evening, and each member received a card. Tho adult lodge paid a visit to the Ever i Faithful Juvenile Temple, and it. is intended to invito this lodge on January 21. The, meting was closed by the C.T. (Bro.
