THAMES COAL PRICES.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Thamss, December 16. It is expected that the ordinary steamer traffic between the Thames and Auckland will'bo .resumed this week. Since the steamer resumed after the strike hold-up, tri-weekly, instead of tlic usual daily service run, caused considerable inconvenience. Household commodities are now normal in price, except coal supplies, which'are scarce. Coal is retailed at Gs. Gd. per sacknearly £4 10s. a ton, as against the usual price of 325. per ton.
