Those Who first enter the- studio can see nothing for at least five minutes, when thejihenome-' no'i is aee'ii, lirst ris a slight hatfe, which increases to that of a pale moonlight, in which is seen the outline of tlic- figure of Christ as seen in tho light, while above and behind him is a dark cross, which docs not appear in tho picture when the lights are turned on.
