WANGANUI GIRLS' COLLEGE
9 Standing on a gcntlo eminence, amidst beautiful grounds, is the picturesque Wanganui Girls' College, which has the reputation of . being a liigli-clnss seminary for girls. As in the case of the Bovs' Collegiate School, the Girls' College lias been fortunate in its principals, finder the guiding hand of Miss Harrison (now Mrs. Mollsop) r the college acquired a fine name, and turned out many distinguished students, and this good work lias been carried on by Miss Cruickshank, who took up the position of lady principal at' tho beginning of 1911. The college ocoupio:; a block of land bounded by Liverpool, Campbell, and Wicksteed Streets. The grounds aro laid out with all the skill of an artist, and the gardens aro at this time of the year a feast of bloom. The college has a large assembly hall, playing grounds, a gymnasium, "and a swimming bath, and in this last connection it is a proud boast of the college that every girl becomes a swimmer soon after bccomme a -student,
