In November steamer Opawa left Auckland with a accord cargo of 'io,COO boxes of butter for London. This record was celipsed by tho G'orinthic, which left for London, via tho south, with 49,008 boxes of butter. Another record is about to bo es-tablished—-this time in connection' with tho-Vancouver trade, for tho .Makura, which will leave Auckland next Monday, will ship 22,000 boxes of butter. This is largely in excess of tho previous record established last October, when tho Niagara shipped 17,778 boxes for Vancouver.
