Bansford, Mills, and Hardy, of Ctn-istchurch, and tho price at which they hare undertaken the work is £161,039. The time fixed far the completion of the. work is December 12, 1915. The .material to be used in 'the walls is brick, faced with .Coromandel granite up to 15 feet from the ground, and with grey-whito marblo from Sandy Bay, Nelson, for tbo rest of tiie structure. Tlw portion included in the esntnict is 228 feet, long and 247 feet broad. Tile height of the building will vary from 52 to 64 feet. Unsuccessful tenderers wore,—J. A. Moody. Auckland, £162,371; F.
