The art union-in connection with the Catholic Carnival was drawn in the Catholic schoolroom, Pctonc, last evening. The winning numbers were:—One, No. 1450, Miss Lottie Crossley, Gisbornc; two, No. 2356, ; three, No. 2467, ; four, No. 107, Mr. Pompey, Koro Koro; live, No. G94, Mr. L. Amedo, Cross Crock; six, No. 2051,
Hope of Petonc Lortgc, No. IST, 1.0. G.T., held their weekly session in Eanhirly Hall, Pctonc, last ovening, when Bro. Ri<ialsfonl, C.T., presided over a good attendance of members and visitors from the Wellington Lodge. Speakers v/ero Bros. Rose, Townsend, and Donaldson. On resuming after tlio recess had been granted, items ' wero given by Sister Job and Bros. Brian, Donaldson, Townsend, Kinsley, Palmer, and Montgomery. After refreshments had been handed round, Bro. Rignlsford, C.T., closed the lodge. At a meeting of the Petonc Municipal Band held last evening, a donation of £1 Is. waf' received from the Pctonc Roman Catholic Bazaar Committee in rectunition of services rendered by the hand' during the recent bazaar.
