BRICKLAYERS STARTING WORK

Tuft embargo placed by tho Bricklayers' Union upon "black" material has now been removed, and all hands will bo free to go back to work once more. • Builders' labourers are reported to bo "still standing solid," but not in such largo numbers as in the onrly stages of tho strike. It is understood that what induced a number of men to return to work during the past couplo of weeks was tho fact that a member of tiro union, who talked loudly in favour of the strike, had advised members of another union in tho same industry to remain at work and ignore the Federation call.
