WANGANUI PRESBYTERY.

The Wanyamii Presbytery on Tuesday elected the Jtov. D. C'alder Moderator for six months. It was decided to write to Mr 11. S. Watson, M.A., student in divinity, congratulating him on the progress as shown by the report of the Theological Hal! Committee. It was agreed to license Mr. John W. Ross, M.A., at Tnrakina, as probationer. The interim session of Gonvillo was granted permission to elect a permanent session. Next presbytery meeting will be held at Marton on the second Tuesday in February.
