AUCKLAND SHOW.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.! Auckland, December 10. The Dominion Agricultural Show, organised by the Auckland A. and P. Association, and subsidised by tho Government, was opened to-day at the Campbell Showgrounds, and will be coittinucd 1 till thd.cnd of the week. Prizes arc offered to '.the/value of £2200, and entries have reached a. total "of 2098, being records in-'both respects. To-day tho judges rfre dealing with saddle and 'light harness horses. To-morrow, they will bo eouiionicd- witlri.' bloodstock, draught horse's, hunters;''and ' : saddlehorses. On Friday the merits will be decided of the dairy cattle, dairy and dairy factory-produce, agricultural and horticultural produce, hunters, light harness, saddle, and .draught horses, and on Saturday tho riding and jumping competitions will eventuate.
