BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEET. His Excellency tho Earl of Liverpool presided at tho annual meeting of tho Board of Governors of the Veterans' Home (Auckland). Cost of maintenance per head per week averaged 13s. 11 *d. Tho average number of resident veterans lias been thirtyeight, being a decrease of two upon last year's average.
