The Government has issued an order prohibiting the immigration of labourers r.nd artisans into British Columbia until March, on tho ground that tho labour market is overcrowded. Tlio real object of the order is to prevent. Asiatics from entering until Cabinet has decided upon the lines of its final policy for submission to Parliament next session.
