The Revenue cutters have partially solved the mystory of tho wireless mossago about tho Rio Grande. It is stated that all iiro safo on board. No mention is ma.de of any passengers.

The Hamburg Amcrika linor Acilia, reported oil November 19 as being six days ovorcluo from Monto Video, lias boon given up for lost. Her cargo is valued at £100,000. London underwriters believe that the Acilin, which is a steamer of 5003 tons, and carried as part of her cargo a shipment of' nitrate valued at .€-15,000, lias been lost off Cape Pillar at the western entrance to the Straits of Magellan. Tho Chilian Government wis asked to dispatch a- cruiser to search for her.
