In view of the frequency ,of strikes, the International Slipping Federation has prepared new clauses, intended to bo embodied in all bills of lading, for tho purpose of conferring extended powers 011 shipowners, enabling them to act in tho interests of cargo-owners , equally with themselves, tho expenses so incurred to fall jointly upon the f owners of tho ship and tho cargo.
