The light northerly breozo proved an easier proposition than tho strong southerly which prevailed on the previous Saturday. Ching's shooting this season has been nothing short ol : brilliant, and it is doubtful wlu-ther sticll steady brilliancy has been witnessed on the Trent-ham range before. DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP. THE WELLINGTON PROGRAMME. Tho W.R.A.'s championship mooting this year will take placo at Treat-ham on December 26 and 27, Tho programme provides six matches, each match carrying .33 prizes, valued at £32. The championship aggregate carries 34 prizes, valued at £50. There are also special prizes, tyros aro well provided for, whilo the Cadets have not •been forgotten. Major Matheson will act as chief range officer.
