The Comities Amendment Hill was committed, but disuses dealing with tho erection of-workers' dwellings Ivv counties were postponed for reconsideration. Tho other effuses were agreed to. LAW SOCIETIES. The Law Practitioners Amendment Bill was committed. The Bill confers upon tho ficiv Zealand Law Society certain powers enabling them to provide a law library at Wellington for tlui nso of tho Judges ol' tjio Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, to subsidise the publication of law reports, and to discipline practitioners for professional 'misconduct. Tho Jiiil was reported without amendments, and read a third time. EDUCATION RESERVES. The Education Reserves Amendment Bill was read a sccond time. DISTRESS LIMITATION. The lion. IT. U. BELL moved the second reading of the Distress and Replevin Amendment Bill. Tiie second reading was agreed to on the voices.
