Three hundred drivers havo struck in tho Llanelly district, though the union officials state that no strike pay will be allowed, Sir. \V. H. Thomas urges that tho action is unconstitutional. Five hundred men aro idle owing to the holding up of local wagons at Llanelly. Tho Great Western Railway engine* men at Cardiff strike to-day. All the Jlid-Glamorgan eollicrics have siopped. I ronworks at Neath and Port Talbot are closing for lack of coal. Tho railway men at Cardiff and Mortliyr havo struck. Ton thousand colliers aro idlo iii tho Maesteg and Bridgend districts. The Paddiiigton express lias boon cancelled. TWENTY THOUSAND IDLE. (lite. December 5, 11.50 p.m.) London, December Twenty thousand miners an> idle in Wales. After J|r. Thomas had addressed the meeting at Llanelly, tho two drivers, Reynolds and James, in whom tho strike originated, signed an expression of regret, .which was forwarded to. the Railway Company. The meeting warned the two drivers that unless they signed, it might be thrown over.
