At tho Addiugton livo stock market today thero were larger entries than last week but tho attendance was limited, oa account of tho wet weather. Fat catt'io were irregular, but prices generally wero unchanged. Storo sheen were in keen demand, but fat lambs were iu ovor-eupDly. and prices fell about to. nor head. PigiS sold nt lato rates. Fat sheep were also easier.
Storo sheep: Four-tooth wethers, 16s. 4d. to 18s. Id.; good two-tooth wethers. 14s. 6d. to 15s. Bd.; medium two-tooth wethers, 13s. to 155.; two-tooth ewco. 17s. 2d.; crceisbred owes, with lambs, 12s. 7d., all counted. Fat lambs: Best lambs, 16s. 6(1. to 20s. 6d.; lighter, 14s. to 16s. Fat, sheen: Woolly wethers, 275.: woolly, ewes, • 22-s. to 31s. 9d.; prime shorn wether?, 21s.' 6d, to 253. 6d.; others, 16s. to 215.; prime shorn ewes, 20s. to 245.; extra, to 27;:. 6d.; others, 13s. 6d. to 19s. 6d. , „ , Fat cattle: Steer.'. £1 2s. 6d. to £11 lCs.: e-xtra, to £16; heifers, £7 to £9 103.; extra, to £11 si'.; and cows, £6 to £18 fc. These rates wero equivalent to 6id. per lb. Store pit's: Largo stores, 355. to 405.; medium. 2£s. to 345.: and small sorts, 18s. to 255. Wcaners realised 14s. to l&s.. according to 6lze and duality.
BUENSIDE MABKET3. Dunedin, December 3. At Burnside to-day 168 fat cattle were yarded. Owing to tho trade holding short supplies, competition was good and prices were a Ehado higher than last week's rates.. Best bullocks. £13 to' £15; extra, to £17 55.; medium, £10 ss. to £12; light, £3 to £10; host heifers, £11 to £13 10s.; good, £9 10s. to £10 145.; light and inferior, £5 16a. to £8. Fat sheep: 14C0 penned.' This number was short of reriuircments, and competition was very keen. Prices for prime wethers and ewes advanced 2s. per head, while medium and inferior sorts wero Is. to Is. 6d. per head higher than last week. Best wcthors in wool, £1 Bs., £1 Ids.; medium, £1 3s. to £1 55.; best shorn wethers, £1 6s. to £1 Bs.; good, £1 2s. to £1 45.; medium, £1 to £1 Is. 6d.: best ewes in wool, £1 ss. to £1 7s. 6d.; medium, £1 to £1 2s. 6d.; best shorn cwee, £1 to £1 25.: extra, to £1 75.; good, 19s. to £1 Is;: medium to inferior, 15s. to 18s. Fat lambs': Only 93 were penned. There was a strong demand, and prices or, compared with last week's were Is. 6d. to 2s. 6d. higher. Best, £1 Is. to £1 3s. 3d.: good: Ids. 6d. to £1; medium, 15s. 6d. to 16s. 6d.
