APPRECIATION.
A NOTHER RESOLUTION. At the meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council la.st week the following resolution was paused unanimously:—"That the council hereby espressos its high appreciation of the attitude adopted by tho Hon. the Prime Minister and members of th© Government in regard to tlie recent attempted general strike, and of tho efficient means _ employed for tho rc-cstablishrnent of law and order at the waterfronts of tho Dominion."
