At a meeting of the Hukanui Branch of the Farmers' Union it was unanimously resolved to take steps to protect tho 'fanners' interests during the. present strike, and to help in every way to "ot all produce shipped and to uphold the" Citizens' Defence Committee m their attitude towards the strikers.
