NEW ZEALAND PRODUCT IN BOND IN PHILADELPHIA, By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright . Washington, December 2. Raw -wool rimler tho new Tariff Act is now free-listed. It is estimated that a million dollars' worth of raw wool is in bond in New York alone awaiting payment of removal duty. Philadelphia wool manufacturers will- withdraw eight million pounds of wool bonded under the now tariff. It is largely the New Zealand product. COLD STORAGE TRUST. Washington, December 2. In tho House cf Representatives, Mr. M'Kellar has introduced a Bill with tho aim of preventing tho manipulation of foodstuffs, as it is alleged the Cold Storage Trust has been doing. Fines and imprisonment are provided for those who corner foodstuffs. •■ Tho Bill prohibits tho storago of food longer than a certain time, with tho object of compelling the Trust to unload hoarded supplies and thus reihico their cost.
