To-day the American athletes are to arrive in Wellington from San Francisco by tho Tahiti, which is due in tho stream at about 1 o'clock.
The precise personnel of tho team was not known till yesterday, when tho information came to hand by wireless. Tho council of the Now Zealand Athletic Association wirelessed tho manager of the team yesterday,, sending greetings from New Zealand, asking for the names of the company, and inquiring if the lectures previously arranged for would bo delivered, notwithstanding a change in the managership of tho team, Tito reply was that the lectures would begiven, and that the company 'Comprises Major Fustaco Peixotto {manager), K. H. Templeton, James Power, Keginald Caughloy, and George Parker. Up till yesterday it was thoviglit. that Koscnberger was with the team, though it seems that Parker's selection was cabled to Australia over a fortnight ago. At 5 o'clock this afternoon tho team will bo accorded a mayoral reception.
