Mrs. S. Richmond'having dcolined to accept a renewal of her lease of Section 22, Block VII, Mangahao, 60 acres, on the terms offered by the board, it was resolved to offer a new lease'hy auction at a rental fixed b.v the ranger, and weighted with valuation for improvements. A Wall applied for a new lease of Education Keservo Section la, Block 11, Puke'toi, for a term of 21 years from January 1, 1914. It was resolved to advise him 'that there is no power to do what he asks, hut that there will be no objection to issuing a fresh lease for tho remainder of tho present term at a revaluation if he so desires. The Waimarino County Council aDplied to hypothecate the thirds from Sections 2, 3, and 23, Block V, Karioi, in addition to those from Section 9, • for a special loan to form Dreadnought Itoad, and it was resolved to approve subject to the ran.jer's renorfc beins favourable. F. J. G. AV. Kolierts applied to subdivide Part 3 of Section 4(3, Blocks Illaiwl VII, Pohangina, 901 acres 2 rcods 31 perches, between tho members of his family in terms of Section 217 of tho Land Act, 1908, and that new leases bo issued as under:—To himself, 6GO acre 3 approximately; to liis wife, Matilda Koberts, 240 acres approximately. It was resolved to approve. 11. Hanson applied for a longer term of license than from year to year over Seotions 55-59, Nireaha Village, 5 acres C poles, also for a reduction in rental, and it was resolved to obtain a revaluation of tho land from tho Crown Lauds Hanger for a term of five years.
It was resolved to offer to C. 51'Intyro a, temporary grazing lease of Section 31, Uangiwnliia Township, nt a rental of JEI per annum. It was resolved to offer a lease of Section 18, Block V, llnngaweka North Township, to Mrs. A. Watson, for one year, at a rental of 30s. per annum. It was resolved to approve of 5 per cent, of tho amount received for improvements on Section 2, Block I, Hunua, lieing paid into the Public. Account, and the balance paid over to the person entitled to receive it. V.
