Tho hearing of tho caso against Joseph Grizgard, S : mon Silverman, and Lcisir Gutwirth (Austrian diamond dealers), and Jock Lockett (jeweller), charged with being concernod in t'lio theft of tho pearl necklace, is proceeding. Lockett and Grizgard have previous convictions against them. The police gave evidence that their associates were criminals. Lockett and Grizgard wcro sentenced to seven years' imprisonment, Silverman to five years', and Gutwirth to eighteen months'. Lockett and Gutwirth were recommended lor deportation. Tho jury found that tho necklace was stolon in London.
