PTOMAINE POISONING.
THROUGH EATING TINNED FRUIT, (By Teksronh.—Profiß Association.? Wanganui, November 25. A serious caso of ptomaine poisoning occurred here yesterday. Tw young men, Sydney Goult, n. school teacher, and Ray Sinclair, engineer, had supper together in Ooiilt's worn, whore thoy partook of tinned pineapple. Soon afterwards thoy becamc so violently ill that thoy were unable to call for assistance. About twelve hours later they were found b.v a friend who -called at the house, and were taken to their respectivo homes. Both were in a critical condition all day. but a turn for the better was announced late tonight.
