Wedding at Leppertoft. At St. Mark's Church, Lepperton, on Thursday afternoon, a very pretty wedding was celebrated between Miss Margaret Wairoa (Tui) Valiutinu, elder daughter of Dr. T. B. A. Valiritino, and Mr. Georgq Middleoon, of Cambridge, Waikato (states a Taranaki exohango). The bride wore a beautiful dreßs of wliite charmeuse and veil of lovely old lace caught up with real orange blossoms, and carried a magnificent bouquot. The tw-o elder bridesmaids, Miss Middleton and Miss Joan Kendall, wore dresses of maize charmeuse with tunics of white ninon, and black luce hats. Thoir bouquets wore composed of yellow ranunculus. Little Miss Janet Valintino, the tliird bridesmaid, wore a- dainty white muslin dross trimmed with yellow ribbons. Mr. W. T. Palmer wag best man, and Mr. R. Quilliam groomsman, The Rev. 0. F. Harrison, of Waitara, was tho officiating minister, and tlift service was fully choral, Mrs. Wheatloy presiding at tlie organ. There were a largo Jjum* ber of guosts at tho reception hold afterwards, visitors from all parts of the district being present. Tho house had been beautifully decorated with flowers, and most tempting afternoon tea was. served on tho lawn under tho trees. Later on Mr. Mia Mrs. Middleton left by motor-car. Mr. Martin O'Donohoo is regarded in the Old Country as one of the most brilliant War correspondents of tho day, whilst his wife lias also put her time to good use on the other side. For several years 'she was special lady correspondent in Paris for the London "Daily Chronicle." Miss Ruby Gower (Masterton) is visiting friends in Eltliam. Mr. and Mrs. F. Armstrong (Dannevirke) aro spending a few 1 days in Napier. Mrs. Noble and Miss C. * Bayly, of New Plymouth, passed through Wellington at the end of last week on their way to Dunedin. Miss Todd (Masterton) is visiting Wellington.

The marriage took placo in St, Paul's Church, Napier, of Miss. Ruby Thomson, oldest daughter of Mr. William Thomson, of Aylesbury,' Canterbury, to Mr. James Mackiq, youngest son of Mr. James Mackio, of Aberdeen, Scotland. The Rov. J. A. Aslier p&rformed the ceromouy. Tho bride was attended by Miss Irene Durr-a-nt and Miss Agnes Bonner, and Mr. D. White Was tho best man.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Lave moved into Miss Speed's houso, in Hobson Streot. The engagement is announced of Miss Lilian Hußsoy, .daughter of Mr, W. J. Hussey, of Christc'hurch, to Mr. E. Cullen Little, son of Mr. J. K. Little, also of Christchurch, Mrs. J. W. Wallace and Miss Wsliace are visiting Napier and Rotorua.
