At an inquest concerning the death of the woman Wallace, or Richards, who was found fatally wounded in lier house at Wee Waa, some 370 odd miles north-west of Sydney, the police gave evidence that Wallace lived with Richards (who has been arrested for the murder) as his wife. When ho was arrested blood was found on Richards's clothes. 'Ho denied any knowledge of tho murder. A neighbour gave evidenco that ho had heard screaming, aiid ran into the liouso. Tho children said: "Daddy is killing mummy." Richards said to witness: "\yo nave dono for her." The inqi/cst was adjourned.
