TRIAL OF STRIKE LEADERS.

POSTPONEMENT LIKELY. A "week ago William Thomas Young,' Robert Scmplej'Henry Holland, Peter Eraser, and George Bailey, prominent strike, leaders) were remanded by the Wellington Magistrate's Court to reappear to-day for the hearing of the charges against them. It is practically certain, howqver, that the cases will not be heard to-day. The Crown is prepared to go on at once, but the defence is not, and an agreement has been made to proceed with the cases on Friday, November 28. This proposed course will of course be subject-to the sanction of the Court.
