'ALLEGATIONS AT THE PEARL NECKLACE TRIAL. By Telegraph—Proas Association—Oopyrisrht London, November 17. Tho trial of Joseph Grizgard, Simon Silverman, and Leisir Gutwirth (Austrian diamond dealers), and Jock Loekett (jeweller), charged with being concorned in the theft of the pearl necklace, is proceeding. . Mr. Muir, K.C., in opening the case for the prosecution, advanced tho theory that the jewels had been stolon between the time of the packet leaving the London Post Office and within half an hour of its delivery at Mr. Mayor's address. The evidence, he said, would go to show that two postmen had received £100 each of £200 apiece promised them.
