. On Monday afternoon . Mr. Stanley Brice, of Petone,' was driving along the Hutt. Road, towards the Hutt. Hearing a' motor-car coming up' behind him he pulled to his left, and the next moment was surprised to hear the motor-car crash' into his vehicle. Mr. T. M. Wilford, M,P,, formally declared the bazaar open.'. Archbishop O'Shea, ■Fathers M'Menamin, Tymons, Daley, and Mr. A.. Coles • were also on the stage. .Apologies were received from- the Hon:, F, ■M. ;B. Fisher, Sir J!-6. Ward, and the Mayor of Petone ■(Mr.-J,'W. M'Ewan). 'Following are the stall-holders':—Fancy stall (Heremai): Misses M. Gayifor (principal), Bolton, Burt, Cure Gaynor, Parsons, Garagnty. Guthrie, M'Arthur, Walters, Stempa (2).
