At a meeting of tho General Labourers' Union the secretary reported having received, ballot papers' from Wellington re taking a secrot ballot as to' Whether the general labourers should "down tools." It was resolved to return the ballot papers, with an explanatory letter, stating that the local branch strongly censures tho general secretary for his attitude during the strike, and. recommends his immediate removal from office. It was alse rcscrlved to strike n levy in support of the women and childrou.
