Cable news was received at tho markets on Saturday that on account of the boycott of tho fruit in Wellington early last week the steamer which left Suva for Auckland on Friday did not take any consignments for Wellington, and only has a small one for Auckland, where she i 3 due to-morrow. This means that no further bananas can reach New Zealand before December 4, when tho Tahiti arrives from San Francisco; and Rarotonga. When tho advice was made known to retailers on Saturday, the price of the remainder of the Willochra's hananas rose 2s. per case, being pretty well cleared out at 9s. per I case. , !
