' COAST RUNS REORGANISED. Particulars concerning tho reorganisation of the Wellington-Lyttelton ferry service, which is to commence this evening, were communicated to a reporter by Mr. D. A. Aikon (assistant-general manager of tho -Onion Steamship Company) yesterday. Tho Maori, which has been hold up for somo three weeks at Lyttelton, will leave tho southern port this overling, manned by officers, engineers, and Arbitrationists. Tho Patepna, -which left Wellington last evening for Lyttelton, will remain at the southern port until Monday/when eho will fesnmo running in tho ferry Kfjrviee in conjunction with the Maori. This arrangement will bring thofollowjjiv: nuin'.iri into operation :—At Wellington : Maori, Monday; Pateena, Tuesday; Maori, Wednesday; -Pateena, ihuivlny; Maori, Friday;' Pateena Saturday. The above arrangement will release tho Mapourika from the ferry service, and she will now re-enter the Welling-ton-Pictoii-Nclson running, commencing from Wellington at 5 p.m. on Monday. Sho will take general cargo as well as passengers. There will bo no steamer from Wellington to Lyttelton to-night. In conclusion, Mr. Aiken stated that the company hoped to reopen some of their cai-fio services during tho forthcoming week.
