DIAMOND SWINDLERS.
EXPOSED IN NEW YORK. By Teleifrapla—Press Association—Oppyrisht (Eec. November 15, 0,15 a.m.) New York, November 14, A diamond swindle in New York, involving £20,000, has been exposed. A young woman disappeared from a fashionable hotel, »nd the police afterwards found a number of diamonds in Bowery resorts. A diamond broker, who was arrested, admitted giving tho diamonds to the woman to soil, but he declared that the diamonds belonged to him, not to othof dealers, as alleged.
