CARPENTERS' IDEA.

(Sy Telcirra.jih.-I'rcss Association.) Dunodln, November 14. Tlio Brass Moulders' Union passed tlio fallowing resolution to-night:—"That tins union protests against t-ho unfair tactics of the Government, in imprisoning the strike leaders." Tho Society of Carpenters and Joiners passed a resolution calling upon tho Leader of the Opposition to forte, if possible, legislation _ to end the present strike by re* moving the forces of law and order'from tlio control of the Employers' Federations and that tho organisation pledges itself to do its utmost to remove from office the present Government as being totally incapable to -administer tlio ftffairs of the country in tho interests of justice.
