IBy Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, November 14. Twenty-five general labourers out of about thirty employed on a road contract at Onehunga by Messrs. H. Bray ' and ■' Son returned to work yesterday morning. An increased number of men took up their work at i>hu Exhibition Buildings 1 this morning, the officials -in.charge reporting a. roll call of between 40 and 50, inclusive of carpenters, painters, plumbmid groundsmen. In addition, between 30 and 40 workmen wore engaged in Wonderland Park. At a> mooting of ilie Seamen's Union this afternoon, when there wero about 500 members prosent, a resolution was carried unanimously appointing ' Messrs. Jack and Mackio to wait upon tlio Mayor, as representatives of the union, to ask Hum to keep all hotels closed during tho continuance of the present trouble.
