WATERSIDE UNIONS.

MAJORITY FOR ARBITRATION. Waterside Wonkers' Unions registered under the Arbitration Act, now exist at ten Dominion ports and another is about to be registered at Nelson. The Arbitration "Unions at Gisborne, Napier, Wanganui, Greymouth, and tho Bluff are of Jong standing. The Thnartt Watersiders' Union was registered in June last, and others as follow:—Wet lhigton, November 0; Auckland, November 8; New Plymouth, November 10: and Dunodin, November 11. Rival" unions exist at Wellington, Auckland, Dunediii, Timaru, and Nelson, Of this number the unions at Auckland and Duncdm are unregistered ami tho others ate registered under tho Trades Union Act. In all there are eight Watersiders' Unions registered under the Trades Union Act. In addition to those named such unions exist at Patea, Pieton, Lyttelton, Foxton, and Oania^u.
