WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.

The ordinary fortnightly meeting of tho Wellington' City Council,. held last evouinf, was attended by tho Mayor (Mr. J. I'. Luke) and Councillors R. Fletcher, J. K, Fitzgerald, T. C. A. IHslop, 11 A. Wright, M. Luckio, L. M'Kenzie, W. J. Tiiompson, a, it. Atkinson, J. Fuller, jmi., J. Godber, G. Frost, and W. H. P. Barber. It was resolved to alter tho boundaries of the City P.O. so as to include all land reclaimed from the sea adjacent to the City,

On 'the recommendation of the Fi« nance and Property Committee, it was resolved that from April 1, 1914, the annual interest on tho harm tramway loan be a charge on tho electric tramways account, and that tho assets and liabilities of the horse tramways be incorporated in the electric tramways account.

Tho Kclbufiie-Knrori Tramway Company, Ltd., was requested to submit for approval the< name of their valuer to make the valuation of tho land to bo sold at tho Kciburnc tramway.

The tender of Mr, J. J. Nolan, was accepted for tho rcdecking of the Kelbunio viaduct.
