—.— INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association— Oopyrizkt London, November-12. The International Safety at Sea Con forerice is being held at the Foreign Office. The delegates were wolconied by Mr., Sydney Buxton, President of the Board of Trade. Captain Muirhead Collins (secretary to the High Commissioner for Australia) and tho 'Hon. Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand) are among those present. The King sent a message cordially welcoming tho conference, and stating that, as-a sailor, he had had personal experience of manj'. of the matters before tho conference. An international agreement regarding measures necessary to remove or diminish perils at sea would confer untold bonefit on humanity throughout the world.
