GOVERNMENT TAKES STOCK. THE CABINET MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyrißkt "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. (Rec. November 13, 6.5 p.m.) London, November 12. There are good-grounds for believing that yesterday's prolonged sitting of the Cabinet was due to the Government's CMiceYn at the recent set-backs at the Reading and Linlithgow by-elections, that it is further perturbed at the obvious Labour resentment over the prosecution of Larkin (the Dublin strike leader). Cabinet, it is believed, has definitely begun to consider tho practical possibilities of giving effect ' to Mr. Asquith's invitation for an interchange of suggestions and views betwoon the parties on the Ulster question.
