Auckland* November 12. Sympathisers with the "strikers havebeen using threats toward? women, in. the country districts, it is alleged. Most of the complaints are coming from Cambridge. Captain Reddon. who lives in that district, left the Domain oamp for homo yesterday with instructions to investigate the complaints and if found advisable to organise a-, force- of mounted men to protect the homes of the farmers who are doing duty in Auckland. Tlio farmers are resolved to give a sharp lesson to any men. wko may ho found insulting or intimidating tlio women.
