MOANA MANNED.
BY EXPERIENCED CREW. It will be remembered that the crew of tho Union Company's Moana left their ship at Wellington oil Friday, November 7. The vessel was en routo from Sydney to San Francisco, and lmd [practically completed loading at this port. On account of tho difficulty in replacing the crow, it was decided that as more cargo was offering it should be taken on board. Tho Moana worked on Saturday and part of Monday, when she took up an anchorago in tho stream prior to sailing for San Francisco. Meantime Union Company officials havo been busy in their endeavours to get' another crew together. Tho result was that last evening 39 men were signed on,. or ready to sign on, the vessel's artioles.' Some of tlio original members of the crew desired to go back, but it is understood that their services were doclined. The Moana's present crew consists of experienced men, some of whom have been ashore at other work for Mmo time past. It is anticipated that the Moana will take her departure for San Francisco, via, way ports, early this morning.
