9 TO STRIKE TO-DAY., . Tho Buildiug Trade- Labourers' Union, at a special meeting held in the Tra-dcs Hall last evening! decided to strike at 5 p.m. to-day. lie telegram recently sent out by the Federation of Labour was. read to the meeting and speeches wore delivered by Mr. W, Parry, a. federation organised" (formerly of Waihi) and Mr. G, Bruce (assistant-secretary of the old Waterside Workers' Union), The union about 275 members., of whom a considerable percentage are already out of work as a result of tho wate-rsiders' .strike.
