LIVELY GAOL SCENE.

E. 51' Queen, were charged at Court this, morning with violently assaulting Warder Fuller with intent to escape, > 51' Queen is serving 'ise'ven years, and in addition eighteen months for a. previous escape. The; 'medieal evidence showed . that tho warder had sustained two small wounds, with ! much laceration, aud bruises—tho bono being exposed—and that he was not jot fit to rcsnmo duty. The injuries were inflicted with a 'tin taper canister filled with lead. Wheeler • pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. M'Queen Was committed for . sentence.
